The Department of Greek and Latin at University College London would be delighted to talk with outstanding candidates in relevant fields about the possibility of hosting them under the terms of the following post-doctoral fellowship schemes:
The Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowshiphttps://ec.europa.eu/research/mariecurieactions/actions/get-funding/individual-fellowships-2020_en The scheme’s deadline is 9 September 2020, but discussion of research proposals with UCL staff and submission of applications via UCL as host need to be initiated in the next few months.
The British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowshiphttps://www.thebritishacademy.ac.uk/funding/british-academy-postdoctoral-fellowships The BA is currently completing the second stage of its 2019-20 scheme and details of the next competition will be made available by the BA in mid-August with the deadline for submission of applications likely to be in October 2020. Again early discussion with UCL is advised.
The Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowshiphttps://www.leverhulme.ac.uk/early-career-fellowships Although Leverhulme does not provide access to its application forms until January 2021, applicants are advised to contact the department in the autumn in order to have a draft application ready for internal review by December 2020.
If you are interested in and eligible for any of these schemes, please contact a member of our UCL staff who works in a relevant field with whom you can discuss and develop your research proposal over the coming months.
